CALAVERA

CALAVERA is the project of DJ and producer Riccardo Castagna, born in 1998 in the province of Lecco, Italy.

He began his DJ career in 2014, initially playing Hard Techno and Trance. Today, his sound is centered around RAW TECHNO and Hypnotic Techno, while continuing to develop his own distinctive style.

In 2019, he began focusing seriously on music production, refining his skills under the guidance of Italian techno artist Mattia Trani. He has since released music on labels including No Mercy, Galactica Music, Pushmaster, Phased, Neotrance, and This Is Hard Generation.

CALAVERA has performed at major clubs across Italy, including Cocoricò, Bolgia, Amnesia Milano, and Gate, as well as events such as Hidden Hell Fantasya and Sisma, building extensive experience within the underground scene.

In 2026, he relocated to Japan and has since performed at venues across Tokyo, including ZERO TOKYO, WOMB, OHJO CLUB, clubasia, Traffic, and Z MARUYAMA.
While rooted in Hard Techno and Trance, CALAVERA now pursues a raw, uncompromising techno sound as he continues to expand his presence in the scene.
