UNAI TROTTI

Unai Trotti is a DJ and producer behind the London-based party and record label Cartulis. Born in Bilbao, Spain, and raised in Madrid, Unai immersed himself in electronic music from his teenage years before moving to London in 2007. In October 2009, he launched the warehouse party Cartuli’s Day, the precursor to what would become Cartulis. Today, alongside internationally recognized residents including Raphael Carrau, Z@p, Junki Inoue, and Vass, he continues to develop the party while keeping the spirit of underground dance music alive in London.

A dedicated digger with a focus on techno, house, electro, and breakbeats, Unai has a talent for uncovering exceptional records, from overlooked classics to tracks by emerging artists yet to receive wider recognition. His sets bring out the full groove of each track, weaving them together with a distinctive sense of flow.

He is also an active producer, releasing functional yet unconventional club tracks through his own Cartulis Music and labels including Art Of Dark, run by fellow London-based artist Colin Chiddle. Under his DJ Mostoles alias, he explores a different side of his sound through downtempo beats.
